My girlfriend was drawing a flying pig today and wanted to see how I would draw it from a certain angle. I ended up finishing it out as a painting. I think I liked hers better though. I do love drawing flying pigs though. I thought I’d go a little dirtier with this little fella. Seeing as how flying pigs would prolly still be just as dirty as a normal ground pig would be.

I did this painting tonight for an art show tomorrow at Hard Tops Gallery in Lubbock. Things have been busy lately, I was hoping to have time to do more for this show. I’m really happy with how this one turned out though. This was mostly pen and ink, with a little watercolor and airbrush.
I sold my first painting this week. It was the first acrylic painting I’ve ever finished… and the first one sold!! It’s a good week. Here’s a picture of me holding the painting in its nice shiny new frame.
This is gonna be an awesome year!
