Hello Will,I’m have watched every single one of your videos and I love them all..I am from India,i just love your work and i think that you’re a genius,Digital medium is what i mostly do my stuff in,i am scared of traditional mediums and which is why i suck at it..do you have any tips for me on how to go about this,i do sketch with a pencil, but the coloring is where my problem lies..i think.. :/

The best advice I can give is to fill up a sketchbook as fast as you can from drawings from life. The goal shouldn’t be to do good sketches, but to fill the book, and learn to explore with your sketches. After a while you’ll get used to it and digital both.

  18. Dr Moo says:

OMG you replied D: -heavy breathing-,so should I do that for both digital and traditional?
    (for my previous comment,*I)

Awesome drawings you have. Would really love to reach your level of expertise. I love realism in my artwork but illustrations, cartoons and other artwork are appealing to me as well. Continue with your great work!!!

    Hi!

I started to watch a video of scketch
book in your YouTube Channel in accident but I love it. Since than I watched all of then, some two or three times.

I’m a 33 mechanical engineer years old, so drawing isn’t in my life for a long. But I remember when I was a happy drawing kid that fill up tons of notebooks with drawings.

Since I started to watch your videos, I began to draw again. Yeah! But I’m really rusted. *sigh*

I’m not plannig to get pro, but I would like to grow up my drawing kid into something more. So, can you give some tips of what I could do first to improve? Annatomical classes? Basic stuff? Or just get a scketch book and start to drawing?

Anyway, thanx for give me back something I really enjoy at the past but forgot in this growup adult living.

Ps.: and forgive me if my English sound weird or wrong, I’m a Brazilian.
