pasta lover

Sketches from the Olive garden. I know it looks like he was eating a steak, but it was actually pasta, I was just too lazy to draw the noodles.

Fat Squirrell

Posted by admin On December - 14 - 2011

My wife and I were in LA a couple weeks ago, and we saw this little guy in one of the neighborhoods around Disney feature animation. He was so fat and chubby, he couldn’t make it up the tree. I finally got around to finishing up the sketch.

Sunday sketching at Market Street

Posted by admin On December - 11 - 2011

Sketching people at Market Street in Lubbock Texas. My friend Brandon posted his sketches too (some of the same people).

I like the old cowboy in the puffy jacket. When I get old, I’m going to wear a puffy jacket, just for safety, not even to keep warm.

gorilla

I’ve started sketching in a Moleskin sketchbook for the first time. I think I like it. Although its only been a week or two.  This gorilla fellow was one of the first few I did. I like the moleskin, because it gives a good middle tone to start out with. It also holds ink a lot better, and I dont have to worry about markers bleeding so much. I dont like it because any water-based drawing tools seem to hate these books. I’ll let you know more soon… because I know you must be fascinated.
