Work with me!

Posted by admin On December - 23 - 2010

I’ve got a big deadline coming up, I’ve already penciled/inked and lettered 160 pages on this book since July 1st. I’ve got about 30 pages to go by Friday Dec 31st. If you’re doing the math, that’s about 5 pages a day. I can, and have been doing that. I’ll be glad when I can go back to a normal, sane 1 page a day though. For this last chapter, I’d like to live stream most of it as we go. If I’m working, you’ll see it below, come chat with me if you’ve got some time. Ask questions, I’d love to get some dialogue going.

Caricature – Smooth Fusion 10th Anniversary

Its weird what I start to enjoy most about drawing after a while.  Lately, I’ve really taken to drawing furniture.  Don’t ask me why.  But I like a good cartoony chair.  This is a recent commission, squeezed ever so tightly into my already busy schedule of late.  I still love drawing caricatures from time to time.  If you or anyone you know are interested in getting a caricature done as a gift or for an event, drop me an email.

the Adventures of Kate Beaton's lost comic…

The Adventures of Kate Beaton's lost comic

I Love Kate Beaton’s comics!  And you should too!  I am totally inspired by her ability to quickly jot out little stories and make them so immensely entertaining.  Her love and passion for History is equally inspiring.  Go to her site now and read everything she does.  You won’t regret it.  This comic is my take on the sad story of her lost comic.  This is how I imagine it went down.  Its also partially referencing one of her other short comics about a little girl that lost her balloons.  I now want to draw lots of  short sketchy comics.
