Another digital painting. I did this sketch a few weeks back at a sketchnight, and I really wanted to digitally paint it then too, but couldn’t get it to work the way I wanted. I had a lot better luck this time around, after practicing that Bobbi Chui demo the other day. This makes me want to learn to paint backgrounds now though. Step by step I guess. A quick digital sketch here and there is all I have time for these days. I’ll get there eventually.

This was a quick 20 minute digital painting sketch after watching a Bobbi Chui digital painting tutorial video. I’ve always liked digital painting, but its sometimes a struggle. I think that video helped a little with taking it up a notch. It definitely didnt seem to be as much of a struggle.
