…I won an award. Third place in the Professional category for the National Arts Program – city of Lubbock show. I didn’t even know I was entered, and I won!! Best of all I won money!! Lol.
The painting that got the award was a little watercolor sketch that I did for my grandma for Christmas. I don’t have a scan of it, otherwise I’d post it here. They took it out of my exhibit and entered it in the show on my behalf and I won!
I’m happy. I guess thats the best way to win – when you don’t even know you’re competing. I’m going to start not entering MORE art shows right away.
