Update and Time Record

Posted by WillTerrell On May - 14 - 2006

I’ve spent most of the last week chillin. It has been very nice. But now I’m getting ready to start the second issue of Gargoyle’s. As well as start back to work penciling/coloring Gulliver. Coloring has become much easier and efficient for me. But I’m keenly aware that if I’m ever to really make a name for myself (and a decent page rate) it’s probably going to have to be as a penciler. So hopefully you’ll start seeing new penciled work from me up here in the next few weeks.

A while ago I mentioned that I’ve been keeping a time record of my daily work. Someone asked me to scan one in and show it, so that’s what I’ve done here. This is from last week. Towards the end of the book I was pretty burned from having to go back and rework a lot of stuff, so my hours were pretty jiggy. But it is what it is. By the way, my friend Brandon made this record for me. I can’t thank him enough. He really went out of his way to make it a nice gift for me. He even went through my old blog and picked out random quotes from me and included a different one on each page as added inspiration. Pretty amazing. Unfortunately it took me a year to start using it – lol – So all the dates are a day off. So I’ve been crossing them out and rewriting the correct ones. It’s still very cool though. Anyways, hope it helps.
